Hi, I'm new to SEO but in my research I'm finding that the most relevant way to promote backlinks and PR is through article development, the emphasis being quality, and leading to quality backlinks.

I'm writing an article about any trouble I might have had with my credit and possessing a personal PC during school. I'm writing this article to help get the word out for the business I am interning for as an apprentice in the SEO field, but also to get the word out that there are company's dedicated to helping those with bad credit... but I'm curious as to how I can plug the company by not making it too obvious that I'm an employee, so the article doesn't seem rooted for self-promotion.

Where does the link usually go and what's a good way to deliver it?

- Mike

re-read that part of your post.

You are basically asking for advice on how to get away with lying. When you are posting things on the web, people will find out if you are being dishonest. When the truth is discovered, it will hurt both you and the company you work for.

Just be honest. It's ok to say you work for the company and tell your experience. People will respect what you have to say when you admit the truth of the situation first.

Make the first paragraph a disclaimer about how you work for the company. Then, proceed to describe your situation.

done and done, thanks for the advice. eZine requires the link to be in the sig, so I threw the link down towards the bottom.

It's pretty great how they support articles the way they do. It really seems like they are trying to promote quality SEO, which is something I can respect, oh and that autosave function is really cool.

You're giving them free content. Of course they support it

I'll take this one step further. You may be violating FEDERAL LAW if you don't disclose that you work for the company. At least in the USA that is..... Especially if your "company" trades in any type of securities.

Most article publishing sites, or ezines, will allow you two backlinks back to your own websites. One for the authoritative, relevant topic site, and another to the author. Just provide valuable information in the article and point back to the source of more information

Well, the fact that exinearticles et al by default presuppose affiliate links is both obvious and normal. If everyone were cryptic as their purposes, that would eventually render the services undemanded.

It's great that you've taken the time to inquire though.
