I am going to begin a heavy Article Marketing campaign. I plan on submitting at least 2 different articles every week to over 50 article directories. My question is will there be any issue with me submitting the same article to all these directories. I hear a lot about spinner software i just dont feel I need a spinner. My articles will be legitimate and fresh and my main purpose for my article marketing is link building. I was told it would be ok to send the same article to multiple directories.

Ya there is no harm to send the same article to multiple directories...And always try to see the keyword density...

Yes, you can do that but make sure, you'll be using different accounts.

According to Google, duplicate content generally refers to substantive blocks of content within or across domains that either completely match other content or are appreciably similar. Deceptive practices like this can result in a poor user experience, when a visitor sees substantially the same content repeated within a set of search results.

I think this may also be tagged as a reprint which may not be a bad duplicate content but can also get your site thrown into the realm of similar pages which means they will be buried behind other results.

Yes, there will be an issue. There's no "duplicate content penalty" per se, but you could still feel some effects. When search engine spiders find duplicate content, they just remove it from the index, which means it has no effect on your search engine ranking. You're not punished for it, but you're not rewarded for it either.

If you have topics that you really like, rewrite the articles before submitting them to different sites. Normally, if your content is 50% different, it will not be pegged as duplicate. There are some free tools online that can measure how different your content is.

article spinners will make your life a lot easier and to make that your hard work would not end up wasted. google doesn't approve of plagiarism even of your own work.

I think that if you publish multiple articles containing the same information too much that you can actually be banned from a search engine because that can be considered spam!

Yes, there is no harm but if publish more articles which has the almost same content then it can be go in the spam.
Google can spam these type of articles.
SO try to publish article with unique content.

According to my experience i will suggest you don't use any kind of software like spinner and submitter or even don't use any software for article generator you will not get anything except dramatically decrease the rank of your site

I'm sorry David but submitting same article to numerous article directories is a bad practice. Mr. Google will not allow it. Before submitting your article, patiently spin it into different versions using { | }.

If you want, you can use free article spinners online. JetSubmitter is quite good even though I am not completely satisfied with it. See it for yourself if you want to try.

Perhaps, it will be nicer if you will research for more article spinners. Many are out there but let me remind you: Never rush your choice.
