  • Content is king and to write great content, you need to have great content writing skills
  • Content should be unique do not copy from other websites
  • Stay focused on the subject at hand and do not go off into tangents
  • We cannot say all the visitors primary language are English. In addition, our attention spans online are very short. Needlessly long, verbose articles will lose your reader's attention. If you lose your readers, you will lose readership

Proper grammar is another very important part of great content. Not only does it help the reader better understand, but it also plays a role in SEO. Keep your content fresh and update often, old information can mislead the reader and you lose the benefits of new content with the search engines. Just my two cents.

Content should short and precise and correct. Keep to the idea. It's very nice to train a bit before you start writing seriously.

I'd like to add one line that Write content for your website visitors rather than for search engines. If you'll write up content for your visitors then search engines will automatically love it.

Keep it simple and to the point. Don't exagerate. Uderstand the topic and then write on it.

Consider how much you can naturally draw the readers to buy too. Think about the things you’d like to buy, and why, and attempt to use these same reasons for magnetizing people to purchase.

More tips for content writing :
Don’t use a generic, boring headline.
Use the headings as the paragraphs consisting of few lines are understandable.
Inclusion of the examples can be very useful for making the write up more solid.

Good subject lines you can use are anything like "10 tips to...." "7 reasons why..." etc. Something that is a short, concise list that can easily be shared with other parties.

There's so much more to content writing than this. These tips are all good, but they are the absolute basics. If you want your site to convert well, you need to understand some other very important concepts. Here are two that come to mind: 1. Preselling. 2. Establishing your voice as an authority.

These are the elements of writing that separate top-converting content sites from sites that do "just okay" or fail to convert altogether. Remember the web is CRAMMED with average, forgettable articles. Don't add to the mess - make your content count.

I agree, establishing your voice is very key ... it should be readily identifiable very early in the article ... that is one thing that allows you to connect to your readers
