Hi friends,
As you all no what is Press release and Articles - In short Press Release is like a new's and Articles is a type of informative article submission. Right
One of my friend told me that you can submit your article as press release ??
But how it is possible actually, the format is totally different so how it is possible ?

it's not really that different ... a press release is really just a condensed news story ... just include all of the relevant facts and important keywords right away to catch the readers attention ... it should be short and sweet and to the point ... a lot depends on what you are writing about

Both Have their Different Existance in SEO line. Both is use for get backlinks but Article is the best source to get Backlink from google than press release. but if we a fresh content in Press release then It PR is also a good way to get more backlinks

Press Release is much expensive than article submission.

Articles are easier to write because you can use your own words.You can start a sentence with "I" while in Press Release,you have to be very careful in choosing the words just like news delivering.Most of the top press release sites have paid submissions.And they are really worth it.You can have a selected list of 12-15 good quality article submission sites and gain good benefit from them. But PR definitely has better effect to SERPs than articles.

These are different totally and the said person is noted differently in the two. Like you know about First person, 2nd person and 3rd person.

I have seen one press release site where some articles (how to type articles rather than news articles) were published. Check out the other press releases in your genre to see what each press release site accepts.

Press release is the best way to familiarize in a short period of time. In a user point of view, press release gains more importance to check out the website.

Why oh why is it that all some of you ever think of is "backlinks"???

It is THE hardest way to get to the "top" of search engines and no real idea whether you'll get results from search if your largely wasted effort gets your ONE page for one word or phrase there.

You should really learn to work smarter then maybe SEO won't be so "difficult"

They both are very different. You cant use article as a press release...
press releases will be in some news form and articles will be like information about the topics..

you have to produce news if you write press release. you have to focus on new things and have to cover why it is difference with other existing products..

It is very difficult to speak about the exact differences between articles and press releases. They have different aims: press release is made or is written for press, for journalists to be informed. And articles are wriitten on the basis of a press release. Also there are peculiarities in language use - articles may vary from formal to informal, but press releases usually have more formal vocabulary.

There are good reasons to do both. However it does cost more to submit a PR then an article. If you want to do a good press release check out the many free online instructions, samples and templates. I've used them in the past to write PR's for new businesses locally. just google press release samples or instructions.
