i have found a subject for my new blog but i have a problem with creating a title for it. my friend says that i need to put a keyword in it, something that goes with the content of my blog but i want something funky and fun. And now i have a dilemma should i go with something simple that will be good for search engines or go wild?

If you were looking for a search engine and hadn't heard the word "google" you wouldn't go to Yahoo and type in google... Choose the title you want, within reason, and let the rest of the pages handle the keywords. Get a number of links to the blog from relevant sites and the title won't matter.

Think about the content of your blog and your intended audience. Then you'll know what a good title would be.

A good blog name describes what it represents, but how much it describes and how much exposure it gets is up to you and your advertising budget. If your blog is not going to be serious then have fun with it. Fun and humor are incredibly effective for both getting noticed and being memorable.

Just make it natural and nice, title is important, but the premise is your website providing useful and unique contents.

If you are looking for traffic then you must have a title related to niche or content of your blog post.

If you will use a keyword, it will be a big advantage I assure you. On the other hand you can also use a part of your keyword in your title.

I think you should use keyword, in your title. It will provide benefit to your site.
And your blog will be easy available in Google search criteria.

I normally add what the page is about in the title.

Don't make up a strange name while having good content. It'll be harder for searchers to find your content,

Blog title should be related your blog, i mean what type of blog you have and the content.

If you think people should be driven to you blog through search engines then write the title of your posts according to keywords people use of search for those subjects and don't care about the title of your blog, keep it whatever you are comfortable with.
