I am a full time article writer on frelancer and on other freelance website like Elance. I want some help to build my business better on Elance as such kind of bad thing is happening with me. When I posted the professional proposal to client he\she declined my proposal and I check it why declined? I saw that "contractor did not have necessary expertise" as all skills are matched with me. I think that client should expect reviews, job history and experience but a new elancer did not have all these things. So, what can I do win more jobs and create job history. Please help me I am facing a serious problem. You can check my profile on elance by search elance and enter. Elance site is appear. To Help needed!

If you expect to be successful as a writer of any kind, you must first master the basics of grammar and learn to spell. I don't intend to be mean, but I feel that you'll only become more frustrated if you continue to seek jobs when you don't have the basic tools of the trade. It's like a carpenter trying to do her job without a saw and a hammer.

I realize that my comments will likely upset you, but I offer them in good faith.

The Client always the right to decide who they want to hire for a job, sometimes you don't understand the whys, but it is their right.

To be a succesfull writer , you must create quality content and always to post articles that are in "tred" with the news...

You need to develop some articles on "Spec" that you can put into a creative portfolio. Put together 100, 500, and 1,000 word articles on topics that interest you. Make sure they're solid pieces, revise them and proofread them, and then add them to your portfolio. I have over 100 pieces in my portfolio, but you can get by with as few as 7.
