Well since I figure we're going to see a lot of threads about this why not list the pros and cons here?

Off the top of my head here are mine.

Google
- Relative Ads
- Huge selection of advertisers
- Established for a long time

YPN
- Higher paying (for the most part)
- Better support

Anything else you guys can think of?

Well, technically it'd be "Adsense vrs. YPN" but whatever.

I think a pro of Google Adsense is that it's been around longer, so is potentially more reliable.

Good point I would change it, but I can't.

A good plus of Google is the link units, and the interationality of it.

AdSense
Better targeted, relevant ads +
Link units +
Not in beta +
Not US only right now +
Easy acceptance +
Quick and helpful support +
Checks arrive on time +
Can ban you for no reason, unexpectedly -

YPN
Slightly better pay +
Very poorly targeted ads -
Easy acceptance +
Support lacks quality -
Check arrive on time +/- (sometimes)
Can ban you for no reason, unexpectedly -

This is the case with Adsense but in YPN I have noticed they generally tell you what is wrong and give you about 10 business days to correct it. Also, they will still pay you the money you've earned after your banned, unlike Adsense.

Forgotten, how lenient is YPN with warnings and such? If you fix it, will they let you slide? or is it you mess up one time and you're done for...

I had broken the rules once, they sent me an email telling me kindly to fix it and gave me 10 days to respond. I fixed it and they have been as kind/responsive to me as ever.

That experience is one of the reasons im such a fan of YPN.

Really. That's surprising, to be honest.

I'm sure YPN will stop warning users once they go internation as it'd take forever to send out emails and monitor if the sites have fixed itself.

AdSense just has a bigger publisher base so I'm guessing they rarely deal with the whole "you're doing this wrong" process and it'd be a lot quicker to just ban you.

Not if you are bringing in a lot PPC and/or buying a lot of PPC.
