Link popularity is the measure of quantity and / or quality of web pages linking back to your webpage. Please obtain some quality links into your site and then re-submit your site again in three months.

I was initially denied too. Fair enough at the time - the site was maybe 3 weeks old. I waited a few weeks before I mailed them to look at it manually. I heard nothing for several weeks and so forgot about it.

After the last PR update (got a pr of 5 now, up from 0) I was accepted within a day or two. Current unique views are roughly 20-30 per day (yes, I know that's insanely low!). Despite what they might say, I think PR does count a lot.

Maybe it helps that I've bought several links on other sites?

I was rejected also, but i was not bothered by it really, but then i got an e-mail, and many more after that telling me I was approved and reminding me to put in my ad code. I get this e-mail usually once a week, im must get around to seeing if its worth it.

Also I dont want to sound stupid, but I will ask a stupid question, but what is a proxy site

If you have a PR4 or better, your site automatically gets accepted regardless of your Alexa ranking or how many daily uniques you get.

I have PR 3/10 (I used to have 5/10 about 6 months ago but fell to 3 on a PR update

), alexa rating 170.000 and about 600+ uniques a day on the site I applied for and I got denied as well. I also got denied after manually responding to their e-mail, for the same reason of inadequate link popularity.

It's good that they have a strict filtering on the sites they accept, opposed to adsense that you see it on almost every site now, but don't you think that maybe they are TOO strict?

I was accepted, about a month after getting rejected. My site stats tripled, so I think that helped very much.

I have a PR 4 blog with 475-500 page views per day. I applied and I got rejected.

So I guess we need a good PR, good alexa rank, good "Link popularity" to get approved.
