Right now I'm getting between 90 and 130 clicks a day from one of my blogs. Very random stuff and nothing is all that popular. I have decent traffic (2000 uniques/day and 5000 page views) and I'm running adsense getting about 100 clicks a day for the last few months. My problem is that I'll make about $50/day some days and other days only $20.

I wonder if switching to YPN would make a difference?

Also I have articles that serve ads that are paying $4+ per click but I dont seem to get those type of ads. I get the one's for 40 cents. Is adsense usng PR to see who deserves the higher paying ads or is there something else? :glare:

is there any other way you could monetize the site? Any CPA offers that would fit in to your niches demograph?

I throw in some ringtone stuff if the article is related or the audiance is similar.

you could try a different ppc program with higher pay, but you wont get as good ad matches as adsense

Just try to be topic conscious and post about things that people are trying to market right now. Product reviews maybe?

I have the same problem.

I made $70 on 163 clicks one day with adsense and then the very next day on 160 clicks made 41 dollars.

You should do some optimization to increase your CTR. I don't know how you are doing it... but try different layouts, colors,... do some testing,... try YPN for a period of time...

YPN is apparently pretty hard to get into still, but if you can get accepted, you should definitely try it. On equal page impressions of Adsense and Yahoo, I make way more on Yahoo.

I dont know. I'm into video game niches and our CPC sucks either way :/ . I haven't tried YPN but their rates through overture seem the same and I've heard from others.

YPN is better for most terms though, just not as high CTR% usually because of relevance.

if it were me i'd rather go for a higher CTR over a lower CTR with higher $$ amounts.

heh. same prob with my site. today i get 246 clicks (3.48% CTR) but adsense money is just barely over USD$10... anyhoo...

yea that's not good. You got a decent CTR you gotta increase Page's eCPM. Without seeing the page have you ever thought of adding more similar words per page?

I've got about 10 different adsense site. For this month (August) my best site makes me 47 dollars per 100 clicks, my worst site makes 9 dollars per 100 clicks. Really depends on your niche
