Joined up for LinkWorth to use their LinkWords program on my WordPress blog. Turns out (according to LinkWorths own forum) that LinkWords doesn't perform properly in WordPress since their code is in (effectively) three parts:
  • An opening <div>
  • A closing </div>
  • and a final pre-</body> java chunk.

To perform properly all three of these would probably need to be in different files thus it screws up most themes.

Great... :glare:

According to the LinkWorth forum they are working on a WordPress plugin to fix this...

[ if anyone knows otherwise, please do tell! ]

All you do is have a <div [LinkWord Coding]> to start off with.
A </div> to mark the end of your text.

All the text between the opening and closing <div>'s will get the double underlines with popup window ad.

To finalise it you put some javascript at the end of your page (before the </body> ) which is your ID code and some CSS to decide which type of popup window will show.

Problem is that the WordPress themes are broken up into seperate files, so if the opening <div> is in one file and the closing </div> is in another file it totally screws up the theme. I tried it and my side bar ended up with some blog posts in it!

I asked LinkWorth about it and they confirmed that they were working on a WordPress plugin...

Not sure how it'd work with a vB forum, might try it...
