Any of you out there actually use lnding pages or do you normally just straight up redirect to the offer page from a URL?

I have nice dynamic landing pages created that include the search term and other things automatically but I am no designer so I am afraid my landing page doesn't look professional enough.

Do any of you hire designers to do your landing pages (and can reccommend one) or do you reccommend just redirecting to the offer landing page right off the top?

I like to kind of use my landing pages to get the customer excited about completing the offer. Seems to have helped my conversions. But I'm wondering if I just wasted my time and should have just sent them to the offer page to start.

i always use a landing page even if the it just the offer Iframed. as it gives you better chances for rankings and QS from adwords. you want the landing page to be quality but ultimately it is to get the person to signup. sometimes that it pushing them directly to the offer via iframe sometimes it is providing information then pushing them to the signup.

I think that every extra page the user has to click through is a page to lose them on. So if their destination already has a wealth of information, just forward -- if it is light on information, sell them on it, and then provide a link.

Is anyone having problems with using Adwords and Iframes. Some people are saying that Google don't like it and will suspend your ad.

Google is making it more difficult but if you learn google system you can use it to your advantage. it is hard anymore to just do and Iframe landing page you need a little more meat.

xboxundone I hope it's not asking too much, but could you clarify that a little? Are you saying that landing page with content is a must-have now, or are you saying a landing page with some content, and still having the iframe intact is the way to go?

TIA

I am saying both can work. If whatever you are going after has little to no competition you can get away with JUST and iframe. but if you are going after somethign more competitive add a little more meat to you page. Meat as in content etc.. But even with less competitve terms more meat could get you a better QS which means cheaper bids!
