I am about to enter the lucrative world of CPA and would like to know how everyone uses it?

Email? Website? Banners? Text?

If you are using on your website, where do you place the them for maximum CTR?

All of the above

placement varies from site and demogarphic you are going after but in general get it in front of their eyes

.

On websites text seems to work best for me but i still use banners also

I do a combo of things. Read the rules of your CPA program before planning your promotions. Some programs do not allow email promotions.

I'm in the process of organizing a contest on my forum. Unfortunately 72/76 of the participants don't know how to confirm an email address so I only got credited for 4 of the completed offers.

If you find the right offer, and the right audience you could make a lot from forum contests.

Comfirming email is the tricky part

if the email gets bounced, lost in a spam folder, or the recipeiant deosnt know how to confirm an email you get zilch

Search/PPC marketing. Some SEO marketing of landing pages and matching up good offers with sites that I already own with traffic.

I haven't given up on CPA, still trying to find something that works. It's just that so far it's been a waste of time for me. Mostly different CPA accounts that are unable to reach minimum payment levels.

I've tried most things I have read about regarding CPA. Millions of impressions, thousands of clicks, barely any leads.

I am in the same situation and always curious that there are so many people on this forum successful with CPA.

Lucas, can you elborate on this please. What do you mean "the right offer and the right audience"? What sort of contests are you referring to?

OK I'll offer myself as the MVP for the "losers club" heehee. I am also still trying to get more leads for my campaign.. I'm giving myself a few months....

at this moment.. apart from using PPC, I am also using traffic-swarm to entice other webmasters (so far, i got 2 leads from thr). i didnt expect the free credits would give me some cash.

*L* you got to realize it is just the forum draws good earners..

and also realize that we didn't get their overnight... well most of us anyways... the biggest key is trial and error and i always say the best traffic is free traffic!

many go after just PPC but you cant forget about SEO... but there is good moeny in PPC also... key is targeting right audience with right offer and right ad and even at right time ... not an easy task but you learn

Most of the incentivizeable offers either have a low payout, require the user to buy something, or are really really long and complicated. If you manage to find a freebie incentivizeable offer that suits your forum, for example if you have a car forum and there is a "win a car" survey, your members would be more inclined to finishing it and thus you getting credited.

My community is based around an online game, so as prizes I gave virtual items for that game.
