Hello fellow Earnersforum members,

I'd figure I'd ask here, because you guys can probably better Feedback than our CJ, Shareasale, or Clixgalore account managers can.

What makes you sign up for an affiliate program?

Right now, we offer the following through CJ.

Standard commission: 20 %
Elevated commission: 25 % (starting from 10 sales a month), 30 % (starting from 25 sales a month)

Is that good? If no, what can we make better that you'll sign up?

Cheers,
Henning

Freebies can work. I see you are a tshirt affiliate program why not offer a free tshirt just for signing up.

Even if its a shirt that says www.spreadshirt.com people will register plus it will give you free advertising.

Yep even publishers that make good money still love freebies.. or incentives to promote more.

I like contact info. When there is a program I am interested in I like to talk to someone before I spend a lot of money on advertising.

Yeah, I would suggest trying some sort of free promotional incentive. It must be completely free, even the slightest charge of shipping will turn off the user. I am currently running my second CPA campaign which involves what you are debating. I will let you know my results and whether or not this method is actually effective.

Freebees are indeed a good idea. However, it would be unmanagable to give every single person that signs up a shirt.

How about one receives a shirt with the Spreadshirt logo on it after their first sale?

Because I'm lazy I look for recurring income programs whose product or service I might be interested in buying myself. The product must not be too difficult to sell and i like to keep earning from every customer I get.

Yeah, but some stuff might sell really well even though you might not buy it personally...
