I use ALOT of Social Bookmarking sites. You can find them thru using search in yahoo or google.
If you use them try to use tags that are popular.

Pay-per-click...usually Google Adwords.
Social Bookmarking...usually with Digg and del.icio.us

oh dont forget to use Squidoo..its great for getting extra traffic to your site

go with articles and ppc traffic

it depends what you have more of....time or money.

if you have more time use articles....

if you have more money use ppc and google is best for that.

PPC, targetted back links, submissions to SE's (every SE out there) and directories, Email marketing, forum posting, etc. Check my sig for reference. Goodluck!

Submit quality posts in forums and comments in blogs along with signature to your site which have a good flow of visitors so that you get some amount of traffic from that as well.

yes youtube and joint ventures have been good for me.

It is tough for the newbie to survive without lots of traffic, however they dont know how to do this.

Please dont just rely on one form of traffic generation and expect to get 1000 hits a day! It aint gunna happen!

rely on all sorts of traffic, free, paid (PPC) and other methods described and you will see a gradual increase in your traffic stats....just like that shampoo ad...it doesn't happen overnight but it will happen...its so true

go with articles, seo, ppc, blogs, forums, directories... they will give you a good start to all this.

You must remember that without traffic your website is just some dormant lobject just sitting out there in cyberspace, without traffic you fail.
