I'm just beginning to do CPA marketing and I was wondering if any experienced CPA/PPC marketer would be willing to take me in under their guidance and help me get started along the right track.

Thanks!

You can learn many of the things you would need to know from reading some of the affiliate marketers blogs and forums that are out there.

As a newbie to CPA / Affiliate marketing ... would you be able to point some of us in the right direction as to what are the better aff marketer blogs? There's an awful lot to choose from!

I read on the most recent thread in the 'Guru Questions/Answers' forum that one of the biggest things they would do differently is team up with someone, or build relationships and JV's etc.

I think this thread kind-of links in with that. Where would the newbies go to get the kind of support and help they desire? Building relations on forums such as EF? I'm sure everyone would like a guru to train them up ~ which of course wouldn't be practical - but I am sure there is some way for us "newbs" to get a head start.

I have always found that the cheapest and best way to learn all this stuff is to do what we are doing now. Use forums. This is because you can alwasy ask questions about things and many people give the opinions on the subject.

Most successful CPA marketers have worked very hard to come up with a system that works for THEM, and they are not likely to teach it to someone else. Basically what you have to do is read, read, and read some more, decide what you think may work, and then try it, try it some more, and then try it again until you make it work. If someone would actually give you their formula for success word for word, it wouldn't work for you because there are personal intangibles they automatically put into their work that they may not even know exist, so they surely can't tell you what they are. It's a bit like having all the ingredients to a recipe, but none of the correct measurements. Having said all that there are steps you can take to get started in CPA marketing so that you can eventually discover what will work for YOU.

1) Choose a product or service you feel you can promote, that enough other people will be interested in, and that people need or want bad enough to complete an action.
2) Figure out the specific people who will be interested in what you chose
3) Build a site or page that will appeal to those people. Keep the page simple and easy to navigate. And above all, your visitors should be able to find what they are looking for right away without using a magnifying glass.
4) Find places to advertise where those people hang out
5) Watch your statistics (clicks, visitors, signups, sales, etc)
6) Make adjustments to your page, offer, advertisements based on your statistics
7) TEST, TEST, TEST...UNTIL YOU START EARNING MONEY!!! Then guard the formula like it was gold...cause it is!
