Bottom border floating in FF

Hi all - I'm sure this question has been answered before, but I can't seem to find it. In my site, I have a purple border, which is attaching to the bottom of the page in IE, but not in FF. It looks fine in 1024x768 resolution in both browsers, but when you look at it in 1280x768 in FF, the border floats underneath the footer - not at the bottom of the page. Any thoughts?

As always, TIA!

You can't do what you're after, Jess. The problem is that text resizes, and as it gets smaller, the bottom border rises too.

Well, at least I've managed to attempt the impossible.. not the possible incorrectly... lol! Thanks for your help. Off to tweak the design.

No probs. You don't know if it's impossible until you try it, though, right?
