Need Help With Scrolling Textbox (overflow)

I need a script where my textbox can have a transparent background and no borders around it. Every script I try the box has borders even when I say no borders. I need to also be able to have hyperlinks within the text that is within the textbox. Can anyone PLEASE help me with this?

A textbox within a form?

For a scrolling text area you would use the textarea selector otherwise you would use the 'input' selector in your CSS.

background-color:transparent;
border:none;}

I just need a read only text area that doesn't have any borders or padding or any "white outlines" around it; where I can input text with links and have a seamless background with the page itself.

Thank you, however, I am not that experienced with CSS and I need this right away. Is there any way you can quickly explain how I would "use the textarea selector" and implement the above code?
