Hi gang - I'm hoping you can help me out. I created this site: www.sciatica.org - in it, the page will center in IE6, IE7 and FF.

I tried applying the same thing to this site: www.jessweiss.com/ansaphone/index.html - I thought they were the same, but I'm not getting the same centering effect in IE6

Can anyone help me find the difference? I'm going cross-eyed comparing the two. Thanks!!

It IS centered in IE 6 - as long as your screen resolution is greater than 1024x768. At 1024, the 50em of your div#cont fills the screen making it appear that the inner content (the green area) is not centered.

Oh, as an aside, you cannot HTML style comments in your CSS, as you have done, this will cause problems. Comments in CSS must be written as /* comment here */
