I'm having problems with my CSS again.

I'm trying to set one colour for the body tag, but then another for my main content, so I have 2 white bars on the edge of my redesigned site, and then another colour for the main area in the centre.

I was trying to achieve this by wrapping the whole page in a div called "container" and setting a background colour for this, and then setting another background colour for my body tag.

Can someone help PLEASE!

The address of the redesign is http://whymhost.co.uk/redesign/index.html, and the CSS is http://whymhost.co.uk/redesign/style.css. My friend who is way better at web design than me is puzzled - please help guys.

P.S. excuse the current colour scheme (white) - I'm trying to make the 2 columns white and the centre similar to the navigation bar colours

Whym, you don't seem to clear your floats.
This have as a side effect that your wrapper have 0px of computed height, because the floated elements are taken out of the normal flow.

Try to add a "clear:both;" after your container, or set a height:950px to your container.
