Hey guys, I have a little problem. My bullet points are coming from:

div#left_nav_inner li:before {
content: "\00BB \0020";
}

This works in FF, but not in IE. How can I make it work in IE???

What does this code do the the bullet points? I've never seen it before. The :before pseudo class?

I don't think IE supports the "before" pseudo class.
Why are you using this pseudo class to define a bullet point on a list?

IE does do bullets differently - so what else is new ?

The easiest way around it is to NOT use the 'native' list bullet, and use a background image on the <li> or <a> instead. Adjust the spacing with margins and/or padding as needed.

Yeah, I figured that the best way around this way to simply use an image. That way you can't go wrong because its compatible in all browsers! (hopefully)

Sorry, IE doesn't do "images." You need to use the <MicroFancyBillGatesPictures> tag instead.

John is that tag xhtml strict or transitional? Will it be changing to <MicroFancySteveBalmerPictures> next year? And will IE7 be compatible with both the old and new tags?
