Hi guys,

I have been using Dreamweaver for years but lately I am not very satisfied with its CSS abilities. It seems to not have a good design view when building W3C sites and I kind of feel like I am loosing those extra minutes that I need in order to rap up a project fast. Has anybody been trying out anything else with better results?

I use Windows and / or Linux so suggestions for both platforms are welcome.

Cheers!

Ultimately, a browser is your best editor. If you've got dual monitors, keep a text editor on one side, and a browser on the other. Hit F5 when you've made changes. Just as good as any editor you'll find. Personally I would just move away from editors altogether, but if you still want use one go with kompozer. It's pretty full featured, it's open source, and it has adequate CSS editing capabilities.

TopStyle Pro is THE best for CSS. I use it for all my coding, it accurately renders CSS for IE and Mozilla. You can get it here: http://www.newsgator.com/Individuals...e/Default.aspx

It color codes for HTML, CSS, and scripting languages, you set the colors. It has a new BoxSpy (but it only works with IE right now), which can help enormously with debugging.
