Here is the site that I'm currently working on.

http://72.52.244.13/

Go around to the different pages that have submenus on the left. As you click around, you can see that randomly the content in the pages will drop down below the submenu. However if you refresh the page, or revisit it, the content will pop back to the correct location.

How do I fix it so that the content is always positioned correctly?

haha, no I'm German actually.

The story of rusalka is slavic though. It's about a beautiful woman who was drowned in a lake by her lover. So now she haunts the lake, beckoning young men to swim with her, then pulling them under and drowning them.

The float problem is an odd one... I'm using Firefox and as I go through the pages it doesn't float properly perhaps 5% of the time... Weird.

Sounds like it might just be a glitch. I've had Firefox make a funny line on a menu about 1/3 of the time. I read some further things and realized it might be a conflict with my graphics card. No one else seemed to notice it.

A web page is a code, it follows exact rules. Unless there is a variable changing the results will be the same, every time.

The site looked fine when I looked at it. When I hold the control key and scroll my mouse button, however, it breaks all over the place.

It isn't a glitch. I spoke with a colleague of mine, and he queued me in on the fact that firefox loads content faster than other browsers... sometimes too fast for the css to work properly.

I had all my floats within a containing table, but didn't have a set width for the table. Once setting a width, the problem never arose again.

why did you use a table? Tables are notorious for causing load problems if used for layout.
