Hi All,

I'm having a problem here where the floated divs are pushing left or right depending on what I add.

I just want a two column layout with each one separate from the other... Any help would be GREATLY appreciated here.

XHTML: http://www.tongmultimedia.com/misc/fuf/index3.php

CSS: http://www.tongmultimedia.com/misc/fuf/global3.css

Thanks,
Eufonik

Hi,

Could you explain (or better : show) which way you'd like your layout, please ?

It appears that you are not properly CLEARING your floats, for one thing which you must do: http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=ClearingSpace
You might also want to read this on float layouts: http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=FloatLayouts

Your code is going to run afoul of IE's doubled-float margin bug, you can read about that here: http://www.positioniseverything.net/...ed-margin.html

The display:inline and overflow: hidden isn't really necessary on the body-left and body-right classes either.

Try clearing your floats first, I think that'll solve your problem.

I'd really like it to just have two columns in the main section. Large modules in the left column, small modules in the right column.
