Hi People,

Just joined up to the forum and was wondering if anyone could help me.

Im pretty new to webdesign learning something new each day and i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to learning css.

I know the basics such as styling text, backgrounds, etc but still dont know how to put a full layout together using divs etc.

Thanks for any help.

The sticky threads at the top of the CSS forum have links to some good information.

W3Schools has some great intro tutorials in general and one specifically on css, which is where the link at the start of this sentence will take you.

Click on the 'Home' link in the upper left at W3Schools to see the rest of their tutorials. All make for excellent starting points.

I am just starting out, too and this website: http://www.subcide.com/tutorials/csslayout/index.aspx
REALLY helped me grasp the concept of divs and how to set up a web page from scratch. If you follow the entire tutorial without stopping or skipping it is best. Good luck!

You need the Head First HTML with CSS book. After bouncing some other CSS books off the wall out of frustration, i bought this book. It's complete idiot proof! Very easy to learn CSS from this book.
