My design is: http://alloraweb.net/screwtheschool
CSS: http://alloraweb.net/screwtheschool/style.css

I've basically got three problems:

1) The boxes "Top Games" and "Top Videos" need to be right next to each other. I've tried everything that I could imagine, yet for some reason I can't line them up next to each other.

2) In the nav menu, when you hover over the links, the background box is supposed to be a rounded box. I have two images for this. the left side image and the right side image. The left one appears fine, the right one doesnt appear at all. cant figure out why either. (or else i wouldnt be posting here lol)

3) The background in the right hand column is supposed to stretch out all the way down to the footer, but it doesnt. Where do I put in "clear: left" to do this? or is something wrong with my syntax?

Please bear with me, I'm only a beginner at coding, and this is the most complex thing i've done yet.

Thanks!

  1. Box model; learn it and love it.
  2. You must set the span height.
  3. It will only extend to the length of the content within it. Use some example like RedMelon's Tstme take on equal heights.

#3 alternative - use the faux columns method.

Ok got most of the problems fixed. All i need to do is fix the nav menu so it doesnt jump down when hovering over it.

Also please check my coding for how I aligned the Top Games and Top Videos boxes. Thanks a lot LadyRed!
