Hey gang...

I have created a new site, and I'm wondering if i can have one section change it's size based on another section...

http://www.letticeandlovage.com/tickets.php

i want the section on the right go bigger if the content section expands.

right now i have it set to 500px, but that obviously doesn't work if the content is longer than "normal"

i tried using height: 100% and other stuff like that but didn't work.

can anybody help?

thanks!

The trick that I was shown was making the background of that section one image.

So instead of using separate background color in the left and right column CSS, wrap a div around the content area and use background-image:url(images/contentbackground.gif).

Yep, it's called the 'faux columns' method and it works quite well for this sort of arrangement.
