I was tweaking code on my website, it displays properly in FF and Opera but now in IE7 it positions the site to the left of the page instead of the center, is there a hack needed to fix it?

I think IE7 centre's with
Code:
body { text-align:center; }
Cant really tell though without seeing your code

No, that is only to make IE 5.5 and below center.
IE7 will behave properly with the margin: 0 auto;, provided that you have set a defined width on the element you're trying to center.

Like LadynRed stated, text-align:center; for the body is not needed for IE6 and up.
