I have an image that I want on top of the swf in a template. I tried this:

Code:
<div id="name" style="position:absolute;center;top:42px;z-index:2;">
<img src="src.png" border="0">
</div>
There are no other z-indexes on the page so I figured by default this would put it on top, but that syntax might be all off. Can someone help please? If you need to look at the page you can find me on AIM with the same username, I just don't want to spam.

Perhaps I should add I put this directly after the body tag. Don't know if it matters that it's not inside a table or anything.

As far as I know, Flash images always come out on top, and there is nothing you can do about it. There is nothing standard about a Flash image, and it can't be manipulated in normal ways like images or text.

As wayfarer said, I don't believe it'll work at all, however, I would try a couple of things anyway:
- make sure your flash is set to wmode=transparent
- put your flash movie in a div that has a lower z-index than the image you want on top of it.
- change your z-index on the image so something much higher than 2.
