Hi,

I have a page which contains 2 DIVs A menu DIV and a gallery DIV. When I mouse over the first menu item, there is a drop down menu. But my problem is that the gallery DIV covers the half of the drop down menu items, and I can't click them. How can I fix this problem? I tried with z-index yet, but it didn't work.

z-index is only applicable to elements that are positioned.

Without a URL, it's impossible to give you any kind of useful answer.

I can click them in Firefox and IE6, however, it's a little funky if you go too far to the right in IE6, you lose the menu. You might try setting a higher z-index on the list.

I sat a higher z-index for the menu. Now it's working, but not in IE 6. If the thumbnails are on the left side of the DIV the drop down menus are under the pics. IE doesn't advocate z-index
In Firefox it works properly.

Yes, but it has some different ways of implementing it. Read up on it at www.positioniseverything.net.
