can someone help with why the layout looks ok in IE7 and then all over the place in FF??

This may just be a start, but if you remove the inline style: style="margin-left: 1px;" from the first <li> in the nav, the crookedness goes away. I don't see what you intended with this 1px, as it doesn't do anything on my screen when I adjust the number.

It was a cut and paste menu from Dynamic D.
That was in there as part of the code.

I removed style="margin-left: 1px;" and the nav has aligned itself now.
Cheers for that.

The content is start slightly lower down after the horizontal blue line in FF, though but I guess I can live with that!
