I'm creating a type of Gallery and I'm just wondering how people achieve that effect where the picture slides or fades into the center of the screen.

Now I have the jQuery side sorted, it's just the DIV that covers the entire page and puts the picture in the center, no matter what position of the page the users at.

Any solutions?

Since you're already using JQuery you could use Thickbox and customize the CSS; or at least reverse engineer it
