http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_t...&_nkw=css+html

I would go to the library and take any CSS book they have =P...
I would rather have a book than a DVD...

I would certainly follow "just a pod's" advice above.
Also go to a good bookshop and browse through all they have and find something that covers what you need.

A book I have found that gives a good introduction is:-

SAMS teach yourself CSS in 24 hours by Kynn Bartlett

An overview of the above is available at:- http://cssin24hours.com/

Hope this helps.

You want a CSS learning guide for beginners, this is one of the best:
http://www.sitepoint.com/books/html1/
or http://www.sitepoint.com/books/css2/

ANY of Eric Meyer's books are also at the top of my list.

I'll add a vote for any of Eric Meyer's books. I read a couple when I first started and that's pretty much all it took to teach me CSS. I highly recommend them.

visibone makes some excellent products, but I guess it depends on what you want.

check out visibone.com , I purchased the browser big book, and man has it been helpful.... but i do think its more of just a reference.

If starting from complete scratch (as I was -- totally great at tables, did not know was CSS was!): Head First HTML with CSS and XHTML by Elisabeth Freeman and Eric Freeman really got me going -- suddenly I knew what CSS was and even a good bit how to start. Then went on to Eric Meyers and others.
