Hi, I'm making a website at the moment and the layout is 100% height. As per usual everything is displaying perfectly in Firefox but not in IE7. The problem I am having is this:

I have successfully got the wrapper to 100% in both browsers - however, the inner divs (a left content and main content div) I also want to stretch from their starting point to the bottom of the page (sans the footer)

The thing that IE7 seems to do, which is not ideal to my design, is it only displays the height as far as the content goes

has anyone else come across this problem and do thay know the solution?

It would be much appreciated

Thanks

I hadn't noticed it, no and thanks for posting.

Although it was still a very good read, it didn't provide an answer to my problem - I have sorted the container div, its actually the ones inside the container div that aren't filling their parent div in IE7

Is this something you might have a solution to?

many thanks

Someone else here is having the same problem. Rather than beating your head against a wall, it is often easier to implement the faux columns method for this particular problem.
