I have aligned all text to justify using a style but would like to left align one paragraph on a page.

I have tried this

<p align="left"><span style=text-align: left>

which I got from Dreamweaver but it hasnt worked.

Anyone got any ideas?

It usually helps to show all the code, better still if you upload the page somewhere to view. But from what you've posted I can tell you two things:

1) align="left" is deprecated and should not be used.
2) You need a semicolon after your style rule, and when you do an inline style rule it needs quotes around it. That would read style="text-align: left;" Not putting those in means the difference between the browser understanding it and not.
