I could be wrong, but I don't think it's possible with css alone. You might be able to do it with javascript. Here's reflection.js, which adds reflections to images.

Usually when I create a reflection I create the whole thing as a single image in Photoshop

Just use photoshop... much, MUCH easier and less messing around. Plus images are supported by more browsers than a bunch of JS.

Well if you made another set of images, flipped them around, then set a moz opacity to them, then created a div, using a negative margin placed it slightly over the already opaque images and then added opacity and a gradient to it (via another small image set as a background) then you might get something.
