www.yodspica.com

the link logo w3c on ie7 appears with a blue border, but I defined links with with white background colour. its shows ok on firefox.

also,
can't get background image move slightly higher up (tried margins etc.) so that footer navigation is not so high positioned. in firefox is ok.

For the blue border, try defining this in your css:

img a{
border: none;
}
As for the background image, I 'm not sure without seeing the existing code.

Thanks, tried that still doesnt work.
Could it be that because the logo is linked to the web the style is embedded ?

just sorted , should have left out the "a" on style definition.

img{
border:none;
}
