Hi

CSS newbie here. I am trying to draw a box on the page that contains the pages content, and within the framing have boxes running across the top of the box that hold the navigation for the site.

I can produce the desired effect with nested boxes, but only for a fixed screen resolution.

I cannot get to grips with how I can scale the nested boxes to fit across the browser window. Main box aye, its a straight percentage, but the smaller boxes? It as if they need to be scaled relative to the main box. Is this possible?

I have attached a simple sketch of what it is I am tring to achieve.

This is really warping my brain - all help gratefully received.

Instead of making little boxes for your navigation inside the main box, try using a list. You can set a percentage on the list, and it should expand with the size of the screen.
