Hey all, I am trying to make an HTML email that I can send off tommorow morning and I thought I had it, looked fine in Outlook and Thunderbird and what I would consider good enough in Hotmail (not completely contained on the right side). But then I looked at it on another site and saw the text started over to the left breaking the boarder. Am I using bad code or does that site just suck at rendering HTML.

Here is an exact copy of the email that I just uploaded to the server.

all that positioning just isn't going to work well in so many email clients. As much as I hate it, the most reliable way to make an html email work in as many clients as possible - is to use tables for the layout and use in-line css to style them.

You might want to check out this information at campaignmonitor.com

I was hoping you wouldnt say that although it confirms everything I have read. I re-wrote it this morning using html.

To refine my question a little bit more should I use HTML or XHTML?

XHTML IS HTML - I'd go with HTML 4.01 Strict
