hi,

i'm trying to create an html alternative to a flash site. i need to place an image (image 1) on a centered background image. next to image 1 i'd like to have a scroller, so everything should look like this:






centering the image and positioning image 1 works fine, but the scroller position varies depending on the browser.

my css knowledge is practically non-existent . could someone look at the source and tell me how to do it better?

get rid of all that ridiculous positioning, create a container for both elements and float them inside it
