Hello all - I am happy I found this site because I REALLY need help. I used to be pretty good at building a site, but its been 6-7 years since I did my own and I am floored how much trouble I am having 'grasping' CSS. I remember tables / using gif spacers, and all the junk... Now I am lost... I cant seem to get anything to 'work'. Yes I know I should hire a webguy, but money is tight. I have a page designed in PS to use as a template, and cannot even getr the thing to work. It has a simple horiz list on top for navigation, a photo background... thats about it..... I cant even do it !! And I was trying to put a simpleviewer gallery on page 2.... LOL...

Anyway - If anyone would like to offer me any help Id GREATLY appreciate it. And feel free to raz me all you want.. I have a good sense of humor !
I can post the jpg file so you can 'see' the 'page' I was trying to do...

Is that all you have, a JPG ? Have you coded anything ?

You should start at the beginning, here's a few resources:

If you have it coded, or partially, lets see the code.

If you are going to take on coding again I strongly recommend www.w3schools.com as a start since they cover all of the basics and the page is very easy to navigate to find the info that you need.

If you post the layout idea you had a jpeg we might be able to give you some pointers to where to find what resources.
