Problem With Column Height & Link Set up

As the title states, I am having a problem understanding why I can't get my column heights to change.

The pages looks fine in Opera, but I'm having to tweek it some to get the right look in IE7. So I am using an external file called ie.css for the general tweeks. I need to tweek it even more so I have added these tweeks to the page itself.

However, since this page contains more text than some of the other pages, I need to extend the column height to accomodate the added text. However, if you look at the code on the page, the columns should be rather large, but it isn't happening.

Can someone take a look HERE and tell me what I am doing wrong? I have been fighting this for 3 days and it is kicking my butt for some reason.

My eternal thanks to anyone who can get me past this.

Remove the column height settings and let the columns expand vertically as it will do by default when adding more content

Remove the borders on #left and #right and apply them to the #container. Then you can take the border off your footer graphic too.

Thank you LadynRed. I'll give that a try.
