Hey, I have a sidebar on my blog which has links and before the links as like a bullet point we have a "//".

You can see this here: http://www.danielmousdell.com/blog

Now the problem is, I also use <li> tags on my navigation bar at the top of my blog and now I have "// // // // // // // // //" above all my links on the top of my nav bar.

Has anyone any ideas or does anyone know how I can remove them.

Thanks alot

It looks like your navigation is contained in a ul with an id="navlist" For your css use

#navlist {}
#navlist li {}

and style however you want.

Alternatively you could have done the same thing with your lists in the sidebar.

Thanks, I have sorted it now

This is the code I used:

Code:
#navlist li:before {
        display: none;
}

Glad you have it working.

#navlist li {list-style:none}

would also work and is the more usual way it's done.

Plus, the :before pseudoclass won't work in IE7 and below.
