Hello, first off I'd like to say I'm new to this forum and a big hello Now I will just jump to the chase, I'm having a few problems but I will do one at a time, first off if you view this page.
http://www.thecreativesheep/site/indexpage12.html

IE6 displays two sets of background images, how can I remove ?

IE7
& IE6 when compared with FireFox3 you can see "no flash installed" with an icon and text but this doesn't show up in IE6 or IE7

Also in all three browsers my style called myface and the <p> tag within the style are being hidden.

I'm having identical problems with other pages so I can only hope that if someone knows the answer to these problems that I can transfer that to my other pages.

You really do NOT want to use all that position:absolute, IE DOES choke on it, and will cause you headaches - as you've found out.

Learn to use the normal document flow and floats and you'll have less trouble all around.

Looks like all you did was use some css to re-create a bad table layout - and I'm guessing you used an export from Photoshop slices to do it - NOT the way to do a layout at all. Too many divs and not well executed.

Try reading up on how to do a css-based layout: www.cssslicingguide.com

The problem that I'm having is that in IE6 there is double images, I had viewed the page a few days ago and did not experience this problem, so if you know explain why this is happening ? As for the slices, I didn't use photoshop to create the <divs> !?!?!? I used photoshop to create the slices, what else am I going to use to slice up an image ?

Umm... your mind ? Nothing wrong with the slice tool, the problem is when people use the export function that creates the html - very bad. If you didn't do this, good, but it still appears as if you've tried to re-create a table-based layout with divs, complicating things unnecessarily.

Without tearing down your entire layout, my educated guess is that the problem lies with all that absolute positioning.
