When the menu is triggered and it opens up it goes over the table which i want it to do but it goes under the flot graph, how do i stop this?

I dont know a whole lot about your site, and what exactly your looking for, but as far as things appearing ontop of other things, check out: http://www.w3schools.com/Css/pr_pos_z-index.asp

giving something a higher/lower z-index will make it appear above/below other things.

Or, if its not about it being on top, and you just dont want it to run that far, try adding width: to the menu's CSS, to stop it from going further.

ill try the z-index!! nah width wouldnt work as theres more menus in the middle of the graph!

z-index ONLY works if the element is positioned, such as absolute or relative, otherwise it's ignored. Is your graph FLASH ??

nope my graph is javascript! and it still deosnt matter if it has a position!

Can we see the code or a URL ? Impossible to tell what's happening from a graphic.

basically its a canvas for the graph (google flot) and the menu goes under it instead of over it!

No worries ive fixed the problem i didnt have a z-index on the <li> tag for the menu!
