Is there a free CSS editor available that works like the one in Dreamweaver?

I'm after something that will fill out or show the options of a tag as you type.

Like you type 'background' and it shows you 'background-color', background-image' etc

TopStyle will do it, even the free version.

I'm a bit old school here. I use the spec: http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/ .

One nice thing about that is that it's not pre-populated with any browser-specific stuff. I have no idea if the other things you've referenced are, but it's nice to know.

i 2nd topstyle. there's a lite version that's free.

Written by NewsGator and HomeSite, I've got to wonder how much adware and spyware you will find in TopStyle.

I haven't used the free version of TopStyle in a long time, the purchase price for Pro is VERY reasonable, but the Lite version is not loaded down with ads and there is absolute NO spyware!!

TopStyle was only sold to Newsgator a few years ago, it was NOT written by them, it was written by Nick Bradbury.
