The main content of my site looks different on IE than any other browser. Can someone help me fix this?

Please compare my site on any browser and IE. http://nscoffee.com/shop

You will see that the "content" background doesn't fill in the same way on IE...

Thank you!

Well, you have more than 1 problem with IE, but to fix this particular problem, you need to add a height: 1% to #content, and you should do that using a separate CSS file JUST for rules to force IE to do things right, and use conditional comments to call that separate css file for IE.

LadynRed,

Thank you for the reply. I did what you said and it worked perfectly.

I also noticed other problems with IE. One is the cart image on the top of the page next to the word "shopping cart". This image is not centered the same way as when you view it in other browsers.

The other problem I noticed is the margin from the bottom of the page on the footer.

Do you know how to fix these two problems?
Also please let me know if you see any other problems.

Thank you very much.

What's wrong with the margin at the bottom ? They look the same on Firefox and IE6.

As for your logo, you're using a transparent PNG and IE does not support transparent PNG's w/o forcing it with some javascript. You can find the IEPNGFIX script at www.twinhelix.com

LadynRed,

I don't see a problem with my logo; they look the same to me on both browsers...But I will look at the link you mentioned.

What I see that is wrong is the icon.gif image on the top right corder of the page. In IE it sits above the word "shopping cart" and on the other browsers, it is lined with that word. I am not sure how to fix this...

Thank you again for your help!

ahh.. ok, I missed that.
In your IE-only stylesheet, change the background positon on the cart menu list item to background-position: 0 center;

In IE6, your logo is not transparent, it's got a gray box around it.
