Remove inherited width

Hey -

I am using the same nav for both the top and bottom (the small nav at the bottom of the page seen most everywhere now) so that I can template the site and only have to change the nav once. Is there a way to remove an inherited width?

I set the width of each li earlier in the CSS, and now for the footer nav I don't want a width to be set.

Thanks!

Why can't you just use a selector for the footer li's such as

Code:
#footer ul li{}
Or apply classes to the footer li's. Either one will work.

[edit]

Forgot your original question. Just use width: auto;

Cheers

oh yea, for the top nav I can select it using #header #nav, for the footer I can use #footer #nav

I can't believe I didn't think of that. Must have been a long day! Thanks!
