Can an elegant design be created with 1 graphic in CSS? I say yes! I wanted to make my web design portfolio redesign as simple as possible, no javascript, ajax, etc., and with as few graphics as possible. Well here is a design that uses only 1 graphic for the homepage layout. Let me know what you think!

Nice concept but with broadband standard and fibre optics just starting out - I just think a few images here and there would be okay.

but yeah, looks good.

I don't think anyone would argue that building a site with 1 image isn't doable, it's not all that hard, really.

This is not the place for reviews though. However, I will say that you need to leave the underlines on links alone. Relying on color only to indicate a link is not accessible as people with some color blindness won't be able to SEE those color differences. It's just not good practice to take off the underlines on links, people expect it and people REALLY hate to hunt for things on a page.

I personally, don't like the tiny scrolling box, but that's just me

Beautiful designs though !

I must agree with LadyhRed. You are looking for simplicity in design - that's good! But, what about navigation. Links, in my opinion, should be more visible. In your case, if underling your links not an option, I would give them some universal color or add some arrows or something to make them more prominent.
Peace!
