And how can you say 'that's why' when we don't even KNOW what version of IE ?? EVERY version of IE, including 8, has bugs. No way to answer this question yet.

works fine in:

Chrome
IE 8

Broken in

IE 5
IE 6
IE7

sometimes caused by spacing between tags... I didn't bother to look over your coding but IE tends to render </div> <div>next div</div> with a spacing as they are not inline.... between the two elements try to remove all white spaces..

btw it looks like this in FF for me

I'm viewing on IE7. It looks fine for me on FF though. How could that screen shot of FF be so different. Thanks for all your help...

You shouldn't be using images to create menus. That's the problem. Different people have different screen resolutions and the images are messing everything up. That's why orionoreo's screenshot was messed up. You need to get rid of the images and replace it with a list and css styling.

That will fix it.

konetch is correct... my right monitor is at 1280 and my left 1600... on my left it looks fine but right, like the one above...

you can do what konetch said or if you're lazy and want a quick fix just put a large div around the whole thing with a width of 1400 or something to contain it
