Problems with layout in Internet Explorer

I have an issue with Internet Explorer. The link to the site is: http://www.melaniewatsonphotography.com

In all resolutions in Firefox, the site is aligned perfectly. However, in IE, there are a few problems.

The pictures are thrown off by being up and to the left and not aligned with everything else. Also you have scroll down to see the navigation. It looks like there is a blank page in between.

I have been racking my brain trying to figure out the problem and I am sure the fix is something simple, but it's driving me crazy!

You need to use a DOCTYPE and validate the page - if the doctype is missing it throws IE into quirks mode.

Most definitely. Get a proper DOCTYPE on your pages. You've got all kinds of invalid code in there, like this section:

Quote:
<font color="#ffffff">
<DIV STYLE="position:absolute; top:25px; left:245px; width:710px">
<p align="justify">

</p>
</div>

</font>

<p>

<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="935">
You cannot wrap divs and paragraphs inside that nasty <font> tag.
You cannot stick a table inside a paragraph.
